Rangatira is a Maori word, which means chief, or king. And this suite, our most luxurious accommodation at Bayview Wairakei Resort, is certainly fit for one.
The Rangatira Suite is a stylish and very spacious two-bedroom apartment. Ideal for hosting an intimate cocktail party or a business meeting, it has a large open plan living and dining area. The ultimate in comfort furnishings and warm chocolate-brown tones invite relaxation while stylish décor and contemporary art inspire.
Relax on genuine leather seating in front of your big-screen TV with Sky and complimentary Box Office movies, plus a DVD Player. Enjoy a meal at your large dining table with feature mood lighting. Put your favourite CD in the stereo and enjoy a glass of wine on your own private balcony.
The Rangatira Suite has a spacious master bedroom with a King Bed, opening out onto the private balcony. The master’s spacious ensuite boasts a deluxe spa bath, with beautiful candles and fluffy bathrobes at the ready, a large shower, double vanity and a separate toilet room.
Upstairs, you’ll find the second bedroom with a King Bed and a shower ensuite. This second bedroom can also be made up as two single beds on request.
The Rangatira Suite has its own butler style kitchenette (with servery access) and a third bathroom for guests.
The Rangatira Suite is fully air-conditioned and can interconnect with a Deluxe Double Room to create a three-bedroom apartment.
